유치원은 아이들이 집 외부에서 처음으로 일상을 보내는 중요한 공간이다. 이러한 특성을 고려하여, 아이들이 단순한 일상의 반복에 머무르지 않고 창의성을 키울 수 있도록 공간을 계획했다. 이를 위해 정형화된 구조가 아닌 비정형적인 공간 요소를 도입하여, 자연스럽게 새로운 자극과 경험을 접할 수 있도록 했다. 또한 단순한 시각적 자극에 그치지 않고, 아이들이 직접 공간을 탐색하고 체험하며 느낄 수 있는 입체적인 공간 경험을 제공하고자 하였다.
A kindergarten is an important place where children spend their first daily life outside of home. Considering this characteristic, the space was designed to help children foster creativity rather than remain in the repetition of simple routines. To achieve this, instead of using a standardized structure, non-typical spatial elements were introduced to naturally provide new stimuli and experiences. Furthermore, the design aims to go beyond mere visual stimulation by offering a three-dimensional spatial experience where children can explore, engage with, and physically sense the environment themselves.
